Nate's fundraiser

This blog post is about a month in the making and long overdue, but I wanted to post it to show you all the lovely families that came out to support my mini-session marathon to help raise funds for Nate's playground. Many of you know the story behind this fundraiser, but if you don't, please click here or here to find out more about Nate and his beautiful legacy.

A special thanks to all the families who participated in this. I can't tell you how much it touches my heart to see the support that was poured out for my friends in their time of loss. We raised $2200.00 (with print sales) to give to Mechanicsville Elementary for their rockin' new playground. That deserves a little "whoop whoop" and a huge fist pump.

A Delaware Wedding | Becca + Dave

I'm fortunate enough to know these two better than just a bride and groom that hired me this year. They are our friends and one of Addisyn's favorite couples. In fact, "Becca-Dave" often make it in the prayer line-up each night when we ask her who she is thankful for. It was no surprise to me that they were dating when I first became friends with them and the more we hung out the more I wondered when Dave was going to pop the big question because it is quite obvious that God made them for each other. I am so glad it was this year! I don't think I could have waited any longer. And I couldn't have been more thrilled to be a part of their wedding day. This backyard wedding at Becca's Aunt and Uncle's house was just adorable. I hope you enjoy the pics as much as I enjoyed editing them :-)

Becca and Dave opted for the "first look" option and thank goodness!!! The skies opened up right after the ceremony and we barely had time to get all the family pics in. 

talk about being perfect for each other? Look at this look they flashed each other during the ceremony. Lol! 

and it's clear they know how to party!!!!
